1. Product Description

The M5x12 copper-plated steel capacitor discharge (CD) weld stud is a precision-engineered threaded fastener designed for rapid, reliable attachment to thin-gauge metal sheets using the capacitor discharge welding process. This stud features a standard M5 metric thread with a nominal length of 12 mm (overall length range available from 15 mm to 100 mm per customer requirements), making it ideal for applications requiring a secure threaded connection without pre-drilled holes or back-side access.

Manufactured from high-quality low-carbon steel with a copper electroplated finish, the stud offers excellent electrical conductivity for stable CD welding and moderate corrosion resistance.
