  The Lacing anchor, As an insulation fastener, is a fabricated metal anchor consisting of a pin and tabbed, or hooked, washer. Stainless Steel is a popular material while some Lacing Anchors are made in Mild Steel. Stamped "no ab" to denote 'no asbestos', the tabbed head is 7/8" in diameter. Lacing Anchors are available in round head or rectangular head, the material is available in stainless steel or Galvanized steel, the pin diameter is in 12 Gauge or 14 Gauge Typical application is for the fabrication of lacing blankets or removable covers with the anchor assisting in fabricating the blanket plus providing a "seam edge" for lacing two sides of the finished insulation blanket together.

2. Press lacing anchor through blanket

3. Secure lacing anchor with self locking washer and bend the spindle

4. Apply insulation blanket

5. Secure blanket by lacing through hooks with lacing wire
